Minimum
System Requirements:
- 350 MHz Intel Pentium II processor or equivalent
- 64 MB of RAM(128MB on Windows XP or later)
- 52 MB available disk space
- 28.8 Kbps modem (audio only)
- 16-bit sound card and speakers
- 65,000-color video display card set to display at 800x600 (video)
- Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 6 or later, Windows 2000 with Service Pack 2 or later, or Windows XP
- IE 5.0 or later
Recommended Computer:
- 500 MHz Intel Pentium III processor or greater
- 128 MB of RAM
- High-speed Internet connection
- Full Duplex sound card and speakers
- 65,000-color video display card set to display at 800x600 or higher
- Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000 with Service Pack 2 or later, or Windows XP
- Internet Explorer 6.0 or later
Download RealPlayer 10 for Windows
When prompted, choose Save to Disk
and specify the directory where you want the RealPlayer Download installation
program to be saved.
Locate and double-click the file "RealPlayer10-5GOLD.exe" that you have just downloaded.
This will begin the RealPlayer Download setup process.
For Macintosh OSX
Minimum
System Requirements:
- Mac OS X 10.2 (with Safari installed) or later (10.3 or later recommended)
- 256 MB RAM (512 MB recommended)
- G3, G4, Mac OS X compatible
- Internet Connection
Download RealPlayer 10 for Mac OSX
- Your browser should download and decompress RealPlayer onto the computer desktop or into your downloads folder.
- Drag the RealPlayer icon into your Applications folder.
- Double-click RealPlayer to begin using it.
If the browser instead downloads and leaves a file called /support/RealPlayer10GOLD.dmg, follow these steps:
- Double-click /support/RealPlayer10GOLD.dmg; a new disk drive should appear called RealPlayer Disk Image.
- Open RealPlayer Disk Image, and drag the RealPlayer icon to your Applications folder.
- Unmount RealPlayer Disk Image. To do this, select it in the Finder and choose Eject from the File Menu.
- Drag the /support/RealPlayer10GOLD.dmg file to the trash.
- Double-click RealPlayer in your Applications folder.

- 16-bit sound card and speakers
- 65,000-color video display card (video)
- Windows* 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows 2000 ME (final release version only) or
Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 4
- IE 4.0.1 or Netscape 4.0 or later

- 200 MHz Intel Pentium processor or better
- 32 MB or more of RAM
- 56.6 Kbps or better modem
- Full Duplex Sound card and speakers

Download RealPlayer 8 for Windows

- Mac OS 8.5 or later
- 64MB RAM or more
- Virtual Memory turned on, set to 128MB
- G3 233 (or faster) PowerPC
- 56.6 Kbps or better Internet connection
- Browser support: Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 or later or Netscape 4.05 or later
Note: Content designed for higher speed
connections may have greater system requirements.
Download RealPlayer 8 for Macintosh
Locate the downloaded file, "rp8-setup.hqx".
Double-click the downloaded file to begin the RealPlayer 8 installation.
It should decompress to be the RealPlayer 8 Basic Installer automatically.
Follow the instructions in each of the installer screens. If the installer
is not extracting properly, you may need to use a program such as Stuffit
Expander to decompress the file and then double click on the installer.
The RealPlayer 8 program is installed in the RealPlayer folder in the
Internet Applications folder in the Internet folder, unless you specify
otherwise. The installation also installs several files into the system
folder of your computer.
