"The overriding concern here is Pikuach Nefesh (danger
to life)... Here applies the clear psak din of Shulchan Aruch
(laws of Shabbos, ch. 329) that if Jews who live near the border
are threatened by gentiles, even for something miniscule, they
must take weapons even on Shabbos and stop them, so that the
gentiles do not penetrate further and try to conquer the land..."

Singing of "Yechi Adoneinu" The
Rebbe encouraged the singing of "Yechi" for the first time
on the 15th of Iyar, 5751. Following Simchat Torah 5753, the Rebbe
encouraged the singing of "Yechi" after every Tefilah in
